What makes vision harder to implement? Clarifying vision with good communication Necessary stepping stones to the starting line

What would you say to help the leader in the example? What first steps does he need to take?

Working with others for their progress in the faith and their joy in God Growing disciple-making disciples

Congregation Home Group/ Sunday School leader Elder or equivalent Trained, paid ministry

Trainers/ equippers Ministry

How will the proposed action contribute to making disciples? If we succeed what would it look like? How will our town know it is being impacted and blessed by God?

Can I – and the church – vocalise how this goal fits with our overall purpose? Is our vision so general it is meaningless? Is our vision specific enough that we can evaluate what not to do or to stop?

Does our vision identify a target audience we wish to impact and what impact we wish to have? Do we have a vision that will excite people about being involved?

What are some of the “cognitive dissonance” factors in your situation? What hinders you turning large-scale gospel vision into concrete developments?
