Over the past several years, WWF-Indonesia has compiled a comprehensive Geographical Information System on Sumatra. Many of the maps that I have compiled for this presentation have been accessed from this GIS system called “Eyes on the Forest”. The WWF- Indonesia project presented a wealth of scientific data and information that discussed Deforestation in Sumatra, Indonesia. As well as touched on many of the other topics that I will discuss later during this presentation. If anyone would like to learn more about this project please go to http://awsassets.wwf.or.id/downloads/wwf_indonesia__2010__sumatran_forests_wildlife_climate_report_for_dkn___bappenas.pdf
