Request from Aspire Academy Holly Locker, a student from Aspire Academy has requested the help of staff and students from Sirius Academy in helping to raise funds for their link town in Sierra Leone to help fight the current Ebola crisis. What can we do? Well, I’ll tell you! Your teacher will show you the Dragon’s Den Charity Challenge slide. With a group of students in your tutor (recommend 4) you need to put together a pitch that persuades the Dragon’s as to why the chosen charity should receive the money. How can we make the pitch? A number of ways! You can either write it in a letter, write a script for a video pitch (could be recorded using IPad or see Mr Rhodes in library) or voice recorded using any available device. All submissions can either be emailed to Mrs Smalley or uploaded to all storage/tutorarea/dragon den charity area! Good luck! CLOSING DATE IS FRIDAY 24TH OCTOBER 2014 – entries have to be submitted Friday.
