WATER 14

第一節 水的生理功用 Physiological function of water 第二節 水分的來源與需要量 Sources with the requirements of water 第三節 水分的平衡 Water balance

Distribution of water The average adult male body contains #/14 to 65% water, women at approximately 50 to 60%. The body of water can be divided two categories: (1) Intracellular water (細胞內液; ICW) - being present in the cell, it refers to all the intracellular water; (2) water (細胞外液; ECW), comprising: a plasma, interstitial fluid (fluid between cells), the various organs secrete liquid (used as a water transport), dense tissue fluid (found in dense connective tissue, cartilage and bone hard The average adult male body contains about 55 to 65% water, containing about 50 women to 60%.

水的生理功用 Physiological function of water Solvent Transport Lubricating action Regulate body temperature Acid-base balance

水分的來源與需要量 Water sources and requirements

meats and bakery contain from about 30 to 40% moisture, Drinks and Food For the main source of human intake of water is a liquid (such as water, beverages and the like soup), are the main source of water, about 1,200 to 1,500 ml; followed by the presence of water in food, such as fruits and vegetables food contains about 70 to 95 % water; meats and bakery contain from about 30 to 40% moisture, food water to provide about 700 to 1,000 milliliters. 14

Water produced by metabolism When the human metabolism of nutrients, the final product is water metabolism (metabolic water), varying amounts of water produced each nutrient, water metabolism such as 100 grams of lipids, carbohydrates and protein, respectively, were produced: 107.1,#/14.5 and 41.3 grams. Water per day produced by the metabolism of approximately 200 to 300 ml. 14

Human daily intake of water between about 1,500 to 3,000 milliliters. Water requirement Human daily intake of water between about 1,500 to 3,000 milliliters. According to the American Dietetic Recommended Dietary Allowance (recommended dietary allowances; RDA) of the proposal, the appropriate amount of water: Adults with 1 ml / 1 kcal plan, Baby places 1.5 ml / 1 kcal calculations. This is because the metabolic rate and body surface area per unit of body weight than those children adult height, coupled with strong activity, so the baby needs more water to compensate for excessive consumption. 14

Section4 水分的平衡 Water balance Intake and exclusion Excellent health depend on water balance of intake and elimination. Under normal circumstances, the exclusion of moisture uptake and pathways via different routes, excluded include: urine, faeces and evaporation from skin and respiratory tract; when there is insufficient intake, the body can reduce the amount of urine and save the body of water, but the water will still be continued through evaporation and loss of skin and respiratory tract. In relatively dry and hot environment (such as sports, summer or plane) or the special stages of life (such as infants, pregnant and lactating) need more water. The thirst sensitivity of the elderly poor, or engage in strenuous work or exercise at high temperatures people, but must pay special attention to the water intake to avoid dehydration. 14999

脫水與中毒Dehydration and poisoning Water less than will lead to serious consequences or death. Any condition resulting in rapid loss of body water are very dangerous, such as burns, fever, heat stroke and so on. Early symptoms of dehydration are fatigue, headache, dry mouth, urinary taste heavy and dark in color, physical activity and mental reactions are poor. Dehydration amount of> 20% of body weight that would result from a coma and death. The elderly and infants are more common dehydration, thirst because the elderly feel more sluggish, or may use diuretics to control blood pressure, and likely to cause dehydration; Baby is because the larger surface area of the water easily evapotranspiration. In addition, severe diarrhea or vomiting can also cause dehydration. 14

Water intoxication(水中毒) If not successfully discharge excess water intake, and accumulate in the body, which may cause water intoxication (water introxication), so that increase intracellular fluid resulting in brain cell hypertrophy, symptoms are headache, nausea, vomiting, cramps, and some may even cause death. 14 Can You Drink Too Much Water?
