Science Fair Fun Help us get students excited about the Regional Science Fair by getting your students to submit a button design. The winning button design will be mass produced and used by the top Sr. Fair winner for the pin exchange at Intel ISEF in Los Angeles in May. The top prize is a $25 gift certificate Visit www.FauquierScienceFair.com and click on contests to participate in the Button Contest.

Idea to Mull Some schools do totally digital fairs Paperwork assignment, editing and storing. Powerpoint creation and editing. Powerpoint slideshow presentations given in class. Students prepare projects for judging by using voice recording to “present” as if judges were there. Judges are assignment projects to judge and sent links to judge virtually using a google form. Results are tallied digitally Teachers make sure each project is judged by the same number of judges. Only a few projects are selected and then printed out and turned into a poster board for the Regional Fair.
