£5 a month discount for broadband resign/new connection Unpublished plans Solo What are these plans all about? Our new published packages start from £23 a month but not all customers need or want to spend that much a month. We have created these low end plans for these customers. What does ‘unpublished’ mean? Basically we won’t be advertising them in any or our customer facing comms. However, they are available to all customers and will be in the pricing matrix and internal comms. Please note that the allowance for these plans is UK only £13 £18 £23 250MB 500MB 750MB 250 500 750 UK allowance only Unlimited BT Wi-Fi £5 a month discount for broadband resign/new connection
Great new handset changes too You’ll now be able to offer more handsets with an upfront fee. This was only previously available on Apple handsets but you can now offer it across the full range. Why are we doing this? This allows you to give customers more choice on their handset and plan. They may only need a small amount of data, but want a high end handset. Previously they would’ve needed to take an expensive plan to get the handset that they wanted or more than likely, they would’ve got their handset and plan from a competitor. A good example is the Samsung S7 edge: Find all the device pricing on Genie in the Pricing Matrix document Before Now Samsung Galaxy S7 edge only available from £45 and above Samsung Galaxy S7 edge available from only £13 a month with an upfront handset fee Samsung Galaxy S7 edge

EU 50 Euro Cap regulatory information - you must tell customers Important As part of taking a plan with inclusive EU data, customers are automatically opted out of the regulatory €50 data cap. You must let them know what it means for them at point of connection and they must also agree to be opted out. What opting out means Data overage charges in the EU will not be capped at €50 and rest of the world will not be capped at €50 They will not receive 80% and 100% usage alerts Customers will receive notification of this in their welcome letter and sent an SMS with a link to more detail What you need to say to every customer taking a Solo plan with EU roaming: ‘By choosing a BT Business Mobile Solo plan that includes an inclusive EU data allowance, you are agreeing to be opted out of the monthly spend limit for data in our Europe Zone. And the 50 euro rest of the world monthly spend data cap. You are able to opt back in at any time. Please confirm that you are happy to opt out of the regulated Eurozone roaming rates’ How to opt back in At point of connection - simply select the Extra ‘EU Data Cap Opt In’ from the Extras list (product code DATOPT) Inlife: Customers can do this at any time by calling customer services Their data will be capped at 1082.43MB in the EU per month regardless of how much EU data they have on their plan. This is the equivalent data amount equalling €50 out of bundle usage. Data overage charges in the rest of the world will be capped at €50 They will receive usage alerts Please ensure that this is discussed with your customer and they agree to opt out / in to the data cap. Without this being agreed with your customer you are not completing a regulatory requirement necessary to close the sale. Find out more at www.bt.com/50EUROoptout
