Polices and Goals CSU Systemwide Sustainability Policy: Adopted 2014 The CSU will pursue sustainable practices in all areas of the university including business operations and self‐funded entities Promote use of environmentally preferred vendors. Use recycled/reusable/refillable products CSUSM Sustainability Master Plan 80% reduction diversion of waste from landfill by 2020 and Zero Waste by 2025 Utilize the “Triple Bottom Line” model in all business decisions Streamline systems to reduce resource use and raise awareness about sustainability with user groups
