Presentation transcript:

Bullying Bullying is the use of force, threat, or coercion to abuse, intimidate, or aggressively dominate others.

Types of bullying - Physical - Emotional - Social - Sexual - Verbal - Physical - Emotional - Social - Sexual - Cyberbullying - Mobbing (at work) Ways of bullying: - Individual - Group (collective)

The most used ones -Cyberbullying, because it’s the easiest way to do it . -Verbal -This is any bullying that is done by speaking. -Physical - This is any bullying that hurts someone’s body or damages their possessions.

Cyberbullying This is any bullying that happens over any technological device. This includes email, instant messaging, social networking sites (such as Facebook), text messages, and phones.

Verbal This is any bullying that is done by speaking. Calling names, spreading rumors, threatening somebody, and making fun of others are all forms of verbal bullying. Verbal bullying is one of the most common types of bullying. In verbal bullying the main weapon the bully uses is their voice.

Physical This is any bullying that hurts someone’s body or damages their possessions. Stealing, shoving, hitting, fighting, and destroying property are all types of physical bullying. Physical bullying is rarely the first form of bullying that a target will experience. Often bullying will begin in a different form and progress to physical violence. In physical bullying the main weapon the bully uses is their body.

Don't be a racist Racist is a person who hates other races , so don’t be that guy . We should all love each other , there is no difference if we are white or black! We are all humans. It doesn’t matter if we are black, white or yellow, if you believe in Jesus or Allah. We are all the same!!

Story time -Daven’s story- *I was bullied pretty badly in high school. There was one kid in particular who would try to make me feel inferior in every way he knew how. For example, he would throw stuff at me constantly, flick me in the head, punch me, wipe whatever he picked out his nose on my shirt, call me ugly and stupid, mock me and of course – tell me he would beat me up if I ever fought back. It was like his daily mission.

Cyberbullying stories Amanda’s story : In October 2012, ABC News reported that the video Amanda Todd had posted to YouTube had been viewed more than 17 million times. In the video entitled “My story: Struggling, bullying, suicide, self harm,” the British Columbia teenager uses flash cards to tell about her experiences of being blackmailed and bullied. A little over a month after posting the video on September 7, 2012, Amanda hanged herself in her home on October 10, 2012. Amanda began using video chat in the seventh grade to meet new people online, and one stranger convinced the teenager to bare her breasts on camera. However, the stranger attempted to use the photo to blackmail Amanda, and the picture began circulating on the internet, including a Facebook profile that used the topless photograph as the profile image. “The Internet stalker she flashed kept stalking her,” Amanda’s mother, Carol Todd, told the Vancouver Sun. “Every time she moved schools he would go undercover and become a Facebook friend.”
