1/ Admission Requirements 1/ 18 years (Ms/Mphil) of education in Pakistan 2/ CGPA + Publication(s)/Conference(s) 3/ No more than 5 years since the completion of your previous degree

2/ Organization of PhD Studies & Fees Structure in France Fees Structure: 391 euros/year (43.500 Pakistani Rupees) in Public Institutions

3/ What is a Doctoral Research? A/ Purpose Complete a Research Work Independently & Making New Findings Available to International Scientific Community B/ What is NOT a Doctoral Research It’s NEITHER a Compilation of All Available Information on a Topic NOR your Personal/Political Opinion

4/ An Introduction to Research Proposal 1/ Prospective PhD student masters the topic & scientific problem 2/ You have to define precisely the “boundaries” , and the methodology he/she will use to support his/her scientific demonstration within the time frame of your PhD 3/ The research proposal has to be written in accordance with academic writing skills. You have to break down and structure your demonstration with titles, footers, etc. which shows the progression of your reasoning. Your research proposal shouldn’t exceed 10-15 pages maximum. 4/ The responsibility of the research is totally yours. Any quotation has to be clearly explicit. Plagiarism may result in your disqualification

Step-1: Examine your research from all sides: Read a lot! A/ You have to read a lot before starting your research in order to make your concepts clear. This is what we call LITERATURE REVIEW. B/ Professors are experts in their specialized areas, please make sure that you have a broad knowledge of the field before contacting them → The more information you gather about your topic of research, the more credible your research proposal will be.

Step-2: Specify the scope and the stakes of your research A/ Your research proposal has something NEW or complementary to offer. You can highlight the missing point in previous research, Your research has to be innovative, productive, fruitful in terms of outcomes and in accordance with ETHICS B/ The research proposal has to define a set of HYPOTHESIS which orientates your research. The Hypothesis is the starting point of your research C/ The RESEARCH QUESTIONS are made keeping in mind your hypothesis

Step-3: Choose your side: methodology/theorical framework A/ The THEORICAL FRAMEWORK defines the theory you’re adopting and the methodology that orientates the way you will conduct your research question, research objectives, research type, etc. B/ Discuss and explain in details the methods you adopt in order to analyze the data you collect throughout your research & make your research more practical and qualitative. C/ Consider What the Expected Outcome/Results of Your Research will be Using the Given Methodology

5/ Breaking Down Of Your Research Proposal (1) A/ Title Page (name, date of birth, nationality, title, etc,) B/ Table Of Content (with titles, footers, etc.) C/ Abstract (Resume of your Research) D/ Problem Statement (Starting Point, Boundaries, etc.) E/ Hypothesis, Research Question & Objectives

A/ Send one e-mail/supervisor B/ Explain to the Professor the reason why you’re contacting him (matching area) C/ Attach your CV & Research Proposal (Open to Discussion & Modification) D/ Don’t mention the funding aspects in your first e-mail D/ Write in a formal style & proofread any grammatical/typing mistakes
