Psalm 111: Praise God Forever! Wisdom From God Psalm 111: Praise God Forever!

Do You Ever Lose Your Praise? “I Never Lost My Praise – Tremaine Hawkins “I’ve lost some good friends along life’s way, some loved ones departed in heaven to stay, But thank God I didn’t lose everything. I’ve lost faith in people who said they cared, in time of my crisis they were never there, But in my disappointment, in my season of pain, One thing never wavered, one thing never changed…

I never lost my hope, I never lost my joy, I never lost my faith, But most of all, I never lost my praise! Are we of sufficient faith to be able to praise God during the good times and the bad? Joke: Do we praise the Lord here?

Habakkuk 3:17-18 “Though the fig tree should not blossom and there be no fruit on the vines, though the yield of the olive should fail and the fields produce no food, though the flock should be cut off from the fold and there be no cattle in the stalls, Yet I will exult in the Lord, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.”

Praise God For His Works – v. 1-6 Verses 1-3 -- “Praise the Lord! I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart, in the company of the upright and in the assembly. Great are the works of the Lord; they are studied by all who delight in them. Splendid and majestic is His work, and His righteousness endures forever.” God’s work is splendid and majestic!

His Splendid and Majestic Works Psalm 8:1, 3-4: “O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth, Who have displayed Your splendor above the heavens! … When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained; What is man that You take thought of him, and the son of man that You care for him?”

Reasons to Praise God Forever Verse 4-6 – “He has made His wonders to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and compassionate. He has given food to those who fear Him; He will remember His covenant forever. He has made known to His people the power of His works, in giving them the heritage of the nations.”

“Worthy are You, Our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.”

Praise God Forever!
