Mischa Maisky Cello Concertos Haydn/Schumann 1986

Mischa Maisky -born Jan. 10, 1948 in Riga -Soviet and Israeli cellist -studied at the Leningrad Conservatory and later with Rostropovich at the Moscow Conservatory -in 1966, won 6th prize at the Moscow International Tchaikovsky Competition -long-standing partnerships with artist such as the pianists Argerich & Lupu, violinists Kremer & Jansen, conductors Bernstein, Mehta, Ashkenazy, Barenboim & Sinopoli
