Thank You Letters Writing a thank you letter after a job interview is a must! In fact, some employers like interviewees to follow-up promptly

Sending thank you letters Plan to send out your thank you letters as soon as possible (preferably within 24 hours) after your interviews. If time is of the essence, it's appropriate to send an email thank you letter

Emailing thank you letters Is it appropriate to email a thank you letter? Yes! Ask for a business card at the end of the interview so you will have contact information

Group Interviews What if you are interviewed with several people? Send individual messages to each person you interviewed with. Modify your message so each interviewer gets a unique thank you note. Ask for a business card at the conclusion of each interview - that way you'll have the contact information for your thank you letters.

Proofread your thank you Finally, remember to proofread - proofreading is just as important in email as it is in other correspondence. Be sure to check spelling, grammar, typos, etc.
