Daily TAKS Connection: Physical and Chemical Changes IPC(8) The student knows that changes in matter affect everyday life. The student is expected to: (A) Distinguish between physical and chemical changes in matter such as oxidation, digestion, changes in states, and stages in the rock cycle.

Day 1: Construct a two tab foldable Materials Sheet of paper scissors Instructions: Hamburger fold the handout along center fold line Cut along dashed line from edge to center fold Color “Physical Changes” flap Color “Chemical Changes” flap a second color
