Christmas Fund Thank You Letters 2009

“What a thoughtful surprise arrived last week “What a thoughtful surprise arrived last week! The church means so much to me as it becomes more difficult to make needs find fulfillment – and yet there are many more finding it more difficult that I do. Blessings upon you.”

“Thank you so very much for the recent grant “Thank you so very much for the recent grant. This gift will help to me with medical expenses that exceed my healthcare insurance coverage. I hope by God’s grace, I will be able to “pay-it-forward” in service to others, particularly in my ministry as a hospice chaplain.”

“Thank you and the Pension board for the grant “Thank you and the Pension board for the grant. This Christmas Fund gift will help me a great deal. I pray one day I can be a blessing to someone as you have been to me.”

“I cannot thank all of you enough “I cannot thank all of you enough. God knows my heart overflows when those angles like you all share with us the way you do. I don’t know what I would do otherwise. Thank you, I shall continue to pray for all of you.”

“Please accept this missive as an expression of my deep appreciation for your recent gift of love. Please know that our prayers are always for our beloved church as she continues to fulfill it’s mission in the world. May God Bless you in every way during these crises times and always, peace and love.”

“A check arrived today. It comes just weeks after my husband’s untimely death, the loss of his income and an array of unplanned for expenses. I am deeply grateful for this gift; it is one more way that God shows us that he will take care of us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

“Yesterday my wife and I were surprised to receive the generous check issued by your board. We can’t begin to express who helpful that gift is to us at this particular time. This past year has been an especially difficult, both health wise and financially. It’s also a nice gesture coming as it did on the 50th anniversary of my ordination.”

“We are grateful for his gift “We are grateful for his gift. It comes at a time when we’re challenged by the economic climate. We hope to be able to “pay it forward” in the not to distant future, helping someone who is facing greater economic challenges than we are. God Bless.”

“Good news! Good news! was our feeling when we opened your letter, what a marvelous surprise - especially in times like these. My wife and I believe this blessing arrives at a timely moment as bills are to be paid at June’s end … Please convey to all responsible for this generous gift our thanksgiving, appreciation and joy.”

“Hearty thanks for my 100th Birthday celebration check, World Vision celebrated with it also along with the Evangelical Children’s Home. I appreciate your kindness for the opportunity to share this.”

“Thank you for the emergency grant “Thank you for the emergency grant. With it, I have been able to pay for dental work and medication costs for on quarter of the year. I am very grateful for the generosity of the people who give through the Christmas Fund which makes such gifts possible. I’ve had many unusual expenses in each of the past several months that created my need.”

“Thank you and the Pension board for the gift “Thank you and the Pension board for the gift. This Christmas Fund gift will help me a great deal. I pray one day I can be a blessing to someone as you have been to me.”

“My greetings and sincere thank you for the generous Christmas Gift Check. It was very much appreciated, and more importantly, the remembrance during the Holy Season was one of great joy to me.”

“I shall continue to thank God and witness for him for from now on thanking him for your generosity. I am forever grateful for all you do for the blessing you always remember to share with those of us who are in need.”

“Please accept my appreciation for the gift sent by our beloved church. I therefore join with you in “shouting the good news and expressing joy for your generosity.” May God continue to bless you and the whole church as we fulfill his mission for us in this time of challenge.”

“What a pleasant surprise to receive a check “What a pleasant surprise to receive a check. If ever something came at a much needed time, this did. Thank you, it is a blessing to know that I worked through an organization that cares.”

“I opened your letter with great trepidation because I must admit I was sure it would begin, “we regret to inform you…” Imagine my amazement, delight and Joy at what it actually did say! Thank you all so much for your consideration of my case. Every bit helps the situation I face. Your kindness puts a human face on God, and God will abide!”

It was so nice to be remembered.” “Thank you on behalf of my husband and myself for your generous gift. My husband is ninety-three and not in good health, so your check was really appreciated and went towards increasing expenses for his care. It was so nice to be remembered.”

“Yes, there are tough times, and yet hope is alive! Thank you so much for recognizing the struggle and, most assuredly, for the gift! The news that social security raises will not happen next year certainly is not “good news” Yet, once again, the faithful send good news!”

“What a wonderful, unexpected gracious gift – thank you so very much “What a wonderful, unexpected gracious gift – thank you so very much. My daughter is heading for for her first year of college and I was playing about where I would find the financial resources. My prayer was answered, thank you. The tears of gratitude rolled down my face at the thought of your care and concern for me.”

“Thank you so much for the recent gift to my family and I. The money was helpful. The gesture and the thoughtful idea behind the gift of money meant just as much…even more. We walk together, always.”

“thank you for your generous gift “thank you for your generous gift. I did as you suggested since it was totally unexpected and not counted on, it gave me great pleasure to pay it forward in sharing it with my local mission.”
