What is AUTO ALERT This cost effective system can be used with any AUTO ALERT from INNOVATIVE DESIGNS is an automated Alert system to inform you in the event of a Tress Pass. If installed in the main door or any entry point, the system will Continuously monitor the status of the door or the entry point. Once the door is open , the sensors will automatically Actuate the AUTO ALERT unit through a Blue Tooth link and will 1. Send ALERT messages to the three stored numbers 2. Take a photograph of the intruder. This cost effective system can be used with any Smart phone with ANDROID operating system.

The Scheme

The elements * The AUTOALERT system consists essentially of 4 parts. 1. Hardware Unit 2. Door Sensors 3. Set of Batteries 4. Mobile unit * To facilitate sending the SMS alerts, you will need an ANDROID phone with A valid SIM card installed. You can use any phone With Bluetooth facility. This is not a part of our unit and has to be be arranged by YOU As batteries are not supplied with the unit, You have to buy and install 4 nos. AA batteries. One set of sensors will Be supplied with the unit. Extra sensors can be purchased from any online store. You can buy this unit f from any of our Authorized Dealers * To make the system cost effective we have excluded mobile from our scope of supply. You can use any spare ANDROID mobile available or buy a low cost mobile with ANDROID OS and Blue Tooth

Connections Fix the magnetic sensors as Shown . The sensor unit with the wires should be on the fixed frame. The magnet unit without wires Should be on the moving door. The two wires coming out of the sensor unit on the door frame Should be connected to the two wires from the unit. In door closed condition, the gap between the two sensors Should not be more than 3 mm. The battery compartment is in the rear side of the unit. Use 4 numbers of AA batteries. A RED led will be on, if the battery voltage is low for operation. If Battery Low indicated, Change all the four batteries.

Multiple sensors The unit comes with one set of magnetic reed switch for fixing on door. You can also use roller switches or Limit switches by connecting the NC Contacts of the switch to the unit. However, if more entry points are to be covered, a single unit can be used to monitor multiple sensors by connecting all the sensor NC contacts in series. Pairing mobile with alarm unit The AUTOALERT unit communicates with the android mobile through a blue tooth link. Therefore, we have to pair the Unit with the mobile. The unit has a blue tooth transmitter with a name HC-05. To pair with mobile, first switch on the unit and in the mobile, Go to SETTINGS on the mobile Click on BLUE TOOTH The mobile will start searching for the Bluetooth devices nearby and will list. Click on the device with HC-05. ( This will vanish when the unit is off ) Click on the HC-05 device. Use 1234 or 0000 as paring code when asked. ( some units will have 1234 as code and others 0000 ) So please try 1234 first and if does not match try 0000 Once successfully connected, it will be shown in the paired devices.

Down Loading software alternatively The CD given along with the unit contains the software file AUTO010817.apk . Installing the software Once the AUTO010817.apk has been downloaded , simply click on it to install. If the mobile security prohibits installation - Go to settings Click on security Tick and enable unknown sources Allow installation of apps from unknown sources NOTE : For your safety, please untick this once this software has been installed.

Configuring the software Once you Switch the alarm unit ON, the blue tooth link will be ON for about five minutes. After switching the unit ON, Click on CLICK to see list & Select HC05 The software will display a list of paired Bluetooth devices. Select the HC-05 blue tooth link by clicking on it. Then enter all the three phone numbers ( please add +91 ) to which you want the alert messages to be sent. Now enter the Actual Message you would like to send to all the numbers in the event of alarm getting actuated. Now click on SAVE button to save all these parameters. Once you have completed this, the software is ready. All these parameters saved now will be loaded automatically whenever the software is opened again.

Operation and running Switch the Unit ON Ensure that the BT link is saved and displayed Similarly Ensure that for Phone numbers & Messages 4. Click START to activate The system will come to active sensing mode only after Five minutes from the time of switching ON the unit. This is to avoid activation of alarm when you open the door to leave the house. This is called EXIT DELAY and the White LED will blink now. Similarly, when you enter the house, the alarm will get activated and send messages only after 1 minute to enable the user to Switch of the unit. During this time the entry delay green LED will blink. Only at the end of this 1 minute period, the unit will send SMS and take photograph
