Technology Policy CCS High School STEM Program Technology Policy, Procedures, and Information 2017-2018 Cabarrus County Schools are committed to preparing students for the 21st Century. 21st Century learning requires that students be literate, responsible citizens in a technological society. The CCS STEM program recognizes this necessity with the implementation of its one-to-one initiative. Freshmen and Sophomore students will receive a Chromebook before the start of the semester. **THE FULL POLICY IS AVAILABLE ON THE CCHS WEBSITE (will be loaded to the NCHS website soon)** **Tech policy and payment must be received before student can receive technology. **All STEM students must use CCS technology. No personal laptops will be allowed.
BLENDED LEARNING -Blended courses allow teachers to reach and teach students more effectively. -They reach multiple learning styles of students for better learning -In addition, blended courses prepare students for 21st century learning and the rigor of online courses that they may encounter during their high school and university careers.

Transportation and Hub Stops Every student must complete a ridership form! If your student lives outside of the NCHS zone, they will have to use a hub stop (unless you provide your own transportation).
