Seek that divine joy which gives meaning and purpose to life … Seek that divine joy which gives meaning and purpose to life …. Plan your life :map out the path of your desires that they lead to peace- yielding, mind – satisfying goals. -Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda

Kriya Yoga Sanskrit root of Kriya is kri, to do, to act and react; the same root is found in the word karma, the natural principle of cause and effect. Kriya Yoga is thus "union (yoga) with the Infinite through a certain action or rite."

Essence of Kriya Yoga https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-stFvGmg1A8

Transmission of Kriya Yoga

Kriya Yoga in Bhagavad Gita "Offering the inhaling breath into the exhaling breath and offering the exhaling breath into the inhaling breath, the yogi neutralizes both breaths; thus he releases prana from the heart and brings life force under his control." -The Bhagavad Gita IV:29

Life of Paramahansa Yogananda He was born in 1893 in Ghorakhpur , India. He was named as Mukunda Lal Ghosh, and was fourth of eight children. His mother passed away when he was about 11 years old. He took Maha Samadhi on 7th March 1952 at the age of 59 at Los Angeles, California. He was the Founder of Self – Realization Fellowship and Yogoda Satsanga Society of India.

His meeting with his Master Sri Yukteswar Giri

Ranchi school of Yoga These lines of honourable Guru Sri Yukteswar Giri inspired Sri Yogananda Paramahansa ,to open an organization called the Ranchi school of Yoga. "God is the Honey, organizations are the hives; both are necessary. Any form is useless, of course, without the spirit, but why should you not start busy hives full of the spiritual nectar?"

Swamiji move towards the West In 1920 Swami Paramahansa Yogananda Went to the United States as India's delegate to an International Congress of Religious Liberals convening in Boston. In 1925 he established the international headquarters for Self-Realization Fellowship at Los Angeles, which became the spiritual and administrative heart of his growing work.

Self –Realization Fellowship (SRF) "Self-realization is the knowing—in body, mind, and soul—that we are one with the omnipresence of God; that we do not have to pray that it come to us, that we are not merely near it at all times, but that God's omnipresence is our omnipresence; that we are just as much a part of Him now as we ever will be. All we have to do is improve our knowing." —Paramahansa Yogananda

“When I am gone, only Love can take my place”. -Paramahansa Yogananda  “I am proud that I was born in India. I am proud that we have a great ambassador representing my spiritual India. Somewhere between the two great civilizations of efficient America and spiritual India lies the answer for a model world civilization.”
