Do Now: Brainstorming List at least 5 things which are necessary to have a home. Write 3 sentences about what it would be like if you lost all of these due to a fire. Include any personal experiences you may have.

Objectives: The students will be able to characterize a great personal loss in order to write a Petrarchan sonnet.
