Chaperone details: Can carpool or ride the bus, there is room on each bus for a couple parents Please sign up for the bus and if you’re interested in a carpool we will talk at the end Meet at Aprende 7:30 a.m. to help load busses That morning we will designate one bus for the boys luggage and the other for the girls luggage. Help load the busses. The 3rd bus is for overflow luggage Refer to packing list for what to bring

Chaperone Backpack Large empty plastic jug – we’ll explain Chapstick – Blistex works best Lotion – small container Sunscreen Hard candy Band-Aids Kleenex Pencil or Pen Wintergreen Lifesavers Flashlight

At Camp: The adults go into to camp to unload the busses and attend camp orientation. During Camp Orientation you will find out who is in your group and your rotation schedule. Your child will be in your class group but not necessarily in your cabin group, dads stay in boy’s cabin, moms stay in girl’s cabin. There are approximately 10 kids in your group with the same colored T-shirt (please provide your t-shirt size before you leave)

Participate in the activities, stand up and sing, act like a kid Some classes you are an observer rather than a participant - Low Ropes – walk away Cell phones are for photos only, please respect this rule Feel free to correct behavior but please let us know so we can help support you

Night Shift/Sleeping Arrangements All students shower at least once, morning or evening, you have to help organize this so you don’t run out of hot water Bed checks should be done before lights out (students must stay in their assigned room) Lights out must be enforced, teachers will do final cabin check Chaperones are in the student cabins but in a separate rooms Chaperones do have to share a room with other chaperones Hungry Bear is open 24/7

Lots of Different Styles Chaperones, teachers and students all have different techniques. Let’s work together. Behavior at all times should reflect that which is appropriate in a school environment (zero tolerance for smoking or other chemical substances, foul language, fighting, etc.). A student or parent who breaks rules or becomes a disciplinary problem may be required to leave camp.

Want Ads/Job Openings Guitarist – no experience needed! We are looking for a few brave souls to run the sing- a-long at the campfire. We will make up song books, there is electricity if someone would like to bring background music on their iPod and speakers. Any help or suggestions are appreciated!!

No nuts of any kind ever at camp. Extra Information: No nuts of any kind ever at camp. Camp requests that we do not bring snacks because of varmints. They will provide snacks.
