NRS Transition Outcomes Current Transition Outcomes under WIA Entered Employment (Target: 41%) Retained Employment (Target: 63%) Entry into post-secondary education or training (current year) (Target: 36%)

Entered Employment Cohort: Outcome: NRS student Labor Force At Entry is “unemployed seeking” Exits the program between October 1, 2014 and September 30, 2015. Has an SSN available for matching Outcome: Has wages reported in 1st quarter after exit through wage records with Department of Commerce

Retained Employment Cohort: Outcome: NRS student Labor Force At Entry is “Full Time” or “Part Time” or those who are “unemployed seeking” and have a job in 1st quarter after exit Exits the program between April 1, 2014 and March 31, 2015 Has an SSN available for matching Outcome: Has wages reported in 3rd quarter after exit through wage records with Department of Commerce

Entered Post-secondary Education Cohort: NRS student Has a HS diploma at entry, receives an HSE or AHS diploma, or enrolled in Basic Skills Plus or Pathways to Employment Exits the program between July 1, 2015 and June 30, 2016 Outcome: Record found of enrollment in a class after separation

Entered Post-secondary Education Outcome: Record found of enrollment in a class after separation. Curriculum classes in any of the 58 Community Colleges National Student Clearinghouse record of enrollment at any public or private post secondary institution reporting to NSC Continuing Education Occupational Training Enrollment Does not include HRD, small business, self-support, etc.
