East Africa Emergency Appeal Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and he hears my voice. Psalm 55:17

Across East Africa, more than 20 million people are facing severe food insecurity and a real risk of famine. Drought has been especially acute across Somalia, where half the population (over 6 million people) are affected. TEAR Australia is urgently raising funds toward a target of $500,000 to support local partner Medair in Somalia, as they deliver emergency health and nutrition aid for vulnerable children and families facing severe food insecurity and an acute risk of famine.

Please Pray Please pray for people who have been impacted by this crisis throughout East Africa: for relief from hunger, safety in complex environments and protection from conflict. Pray for an end to the droughts that have devastated huge areas of land; and for a quick and generous response from the international community with funds and assistance reaching those who need it.
