What is a pilgrimage A pilgrimage is a journey to holy place. We went on a pilgrimage to Lourdes. In Lourdes we have the time to pray and to talk to God. Mary listens to us as well. We can talk about our families, our friends , our hopes and our worries….

Where Is Lourdes!! Lourdes is located on the Spanish and French border. Its in southern France!

How we got there!!

Where we stayed! Hôtel La Solitude This hotel was the biggest hotel I've ever seen! The HCPT team hired out 12 rooms, which was like heaven on earth! The rooms was so luxurious, and very tidy, the food we ordered down stairs was AMAZING! The hosts at the hotel were very welcoming and generous. In our rooms we had 2 beds, a sofa, a tv, bed-side tables, huge wardrobes and a luxurious bathroom!! Hôtel La Solitude

60th Anniversary This year was the 60th anniversary of HCPT. This means that people from all over the world has been visiting Lourdes for 60 years . We all wore a badge like this

The Food at the Hôtel La Solitude The food was absolutely amazing and everyone enjoyed it !!

Weather whilst we were in Lourdes When we were in Lourdes the weather was beautiful. It was sunny everyday apart from 1 day….

Pray for Lourdes Lord Jesus, it was here That your mother appeared to Bernadette. We have come here at Mary's request to pray. We pray that they may come to know you And through you, God our father. We pray for the sick ,the homeless, The hungry and suffering, That they may find health and contentment. We pray that we may become like you lord Jesus We are happy that you have chosen us. Be with us always, lord Jesus, And lead us to God. Amen

The Grotto When we are in Lourdes we visited the Grotto every day .. The Grotto is a small cave where Mary appeared to Bernadette. It is a special place where people go to pray.. Above the cave is a statue of our lady..
