The Buckhorn High School Band Booster Association The Buckhorn High School Band Booster’s Association is a non-profit organization comprised of the parents of the Buckhorn High School Band’s student members. The band program receives NO state funding and therefore relies COMPLETELY upon the Association’s support. Its purpose is to provide personal and financial support to the Buckhorn High School Band program through volunteerism and fundraising efforts so it is able to obtain all that is essential to the success of this award-winning program.

Your Band Booster Association Membership All parents or legal guardians of band members (must be in good standing) Meeting Schedule Once a month in August, September, October, February, March and April at a date and time scheduled by the Executive Board. Other meetings scheduled at the discretion of the board (notification sent by e-mail/ website/Remind101).

Volunteering & Committees Each Board Member has committee(s) that report to him/her If interested, contact respective board member via their e-mail Information will be e-mailed to you regarding duties of the committee. JOINING A COMMITTEE DOES NOT DISCLUDE YOU FROM VOLUNTEERING FOR OTHER DUTIES! (i.e. – concessions, chaperoning) Committees … occasional volunteering … whatever you can do: WE NEED YOU!

1st VICE-PRESIDENT Three committees – Events, Uniforms, and Chaperoning Committees work … We need water! We go through 7,000 bottles of water per season! Charms timing

2nd VICE-PRESIDENT Concessions volunteering; how does charms sign up work/release of slots, fairness Clean-up Committees – Inventory, Ops/Decommission/Shutdown * help for bag lunches and dinners *

3rd VICE-PRESIDENT Both fall and spring fundraisers are provided for students – FANCLOTH NOW! A few students use these fundraisers to pay ALL of their fall and spring fees … and then some. Over $1,000 _net_ to offset your fees is doable! Committees/help with Ideas, Distribution Community fundraisers (don’t forget Publix) EAA Breakfast Fundraising Mrs. Laura Reavis
