It’s what’s called a Workstream Communications and Collaboration (WCC), which is designed to make working in teams easier. Supports the way teams actually work - The problem it’s solving is that team projects can often be sprawling and hard to organize. Ideas, action items, decisions and deliverables can exist in multiple locations and formats, including email, IMs, voicemail, online storage, individual hard drives and more, making searching for or sharing specific information difficult. Standard UCC tools like MiCollab can make it easy to connect and collaborate with team members, but they are communication focused, designed for individual communication, and do little to keep project information organized and easy to share amongst a team. A project-centric approach that facilitates how teams work together to accomplish specific objectives will help boost productivity even further.
