What is ASC? Elected student representatives for academic matters College Council (- Student Assessor) Connection between the student body and College Hall Management Team (Student Assessor) Departments (AAOs)
What do we do? Investigate students’ opinions on academic matters (Focus groups; ASC Asks questionnaires) Have a formal say in UCU academic policy (Management Team; College Board; College Council) Organize all sorts of academic events (Track Event, Exchange Exchange, Life after the bubble etc.) Handle students complaints, concerns & questions (Office hours; emails; focus groups; meetings with the heads of department, fellows, and teachers)

Workload 20-30 hours per week, including: Two ASC meetings Office hours College Council, Management Team, College Board meetings 2x2 with UCSA Meetings with heads, fellows, students, etc. Event organization, focus groups Course reduction of two courses Credit loss can be made up with summer and winter courses Possibility of having a seventh semester
Financial Implications Extra costs Extra semester costs Can be less if you live off campus or go on exchange Compensation 7th semester compensation from UCSA Approx. 1800 € Bestuursbeurs from the UU for student governance Approx. 1400 € Vivian
