Dear Families and Caregivers The Weekly Bulletin Learn at Home! Math When there is rain on your parade; look up. Without rain, there would be no rainbow This month in math we will continue identifying and adding numbers 1-20; and we will use a variety of manipulatives and using our math talks time to learn and practice adding single digits. Yay!! Reading On…… It’s still rhyme time! It will be so fun for our scholars to practice rhyming around the house. We are also practicing short a vowel sounds, and recognizing consonant vowel consonant words such as ‘cat’ or ‘map’. Enjoy labor day and read, read, read for our homework over the weekend! Dear Families and Caregivers It has been such as pleasure learning about each and every one of your precious children. We have begun using a level system in our class to help reinforce positive behaviors. There are 3 privilege levels: green (full privileges), yellow (basic), and red (this is reserved as a consequence for unsafe behaviors such as unsafe hands, feet, and objects or leaving a room without permission). If a student makes a ‘red’ decision he or she is on red for the day, however he or she still has the opportunity to turn things around to earn points and gain privileges for the next day. This is necessary to teach functional skills and will help our students to integrate into the regular education setting after a period of time. Also, every day I will be sending home passports; please sign an return for the next day as a way to keep everyone on the same page. Homework will be given out every Monday and will be due on Friday. Kindly, Ms. Clos

Superhero Owls Newsletter Templates – Editable Headings & Text – works for any language Parents will be excited to read the latest news from your SUPER classroom when you send home your fun and engaging superhero owls themed newsletter! This product includes 4 templates and each will work great for your monthly or weekly newsletter. All text is editable so that you can change the month, the section headings and then add any text that you like. Please view the “Preview” to see all 4 templates. These newsletters look great in grayscale too so if you prefer to print in black and white, your newsletter will still look fabulous. If you send your newsletter electronically then simply save it as a PDF and email it to parents or upload it to your website. The templates are 8.5” by 11”. This product is an editable PowerPoint file. Only the text is editable, you cannot edit the graphics. You must have PowerPoint installed on your computer in order to edit the file. The font used in this set is KG What the Teacher Wants. I have embedded this font in the PowerPoint file for PC users. Mac users will need to download and install the font if you want to use it. You can download it here. To Edit: Click on any text and then delete it. Type in your text. You can also change the font, the font size, the font color if you like. To Print: Be sure to set your printer settings to “Fit to Page. If printing in grayscale, set your printer to “Grayscale” or “Black and White” printing.
