Kindergarten Connection THANK YOU! February 18, 2011 Conference time: 10:30-11:00 Put on your safari hats ~ we are heading to the zoo! This week we began a journey into the world of wild animals. What an adventure! We are already learning so many interesting facts. On March 31st, we are taking a field trip to the Fort Worth Zoo. We can’t wait to see all the animals we are learning about. This week, we also learned about Presidents Washington and Lincoln, and we explored the traits of a good leader. In math, we continued to learn about measurement by comparing the capacity of containers and areas of different surfaces. THANK YOU! Thank you all so much for making Wednesday a wonderful birthday for me! I cherish the cute handmade cards from the children and the beautiful flowers. The children were all so cute bringing them into the room that morning! We all loved the cookie cake! And I enjoyed a great lunch from McAlister’s, one of my very favorite places to eat!
