Exams „Academic Policies at TTÜ“ § 16 There has to be 2 dates available for an exam. There is an additional examination week in the end of the semester in case the student fails/can’t participate at primary exam. When retaking the exam, the latest grade will appear into your transcript. When you don’t pass or you don’t go to the exam, it will appear into your academic transcript. Cheating is not allowed!

Grading system at TTÜ Excellent - 5 Very good - 4 Good - 3 Satisfactory - 2 Sufficient – 1 A (assessed) passed – but no grade! __________________________________________ Failed - 0 MI – not attended (you registerd, but did not go) M (not assessed) – failed, lack of knowledge

More about grading Grading principles have to be made clear at the beginning of the semester by the Lecturer. Your home university will transfer credits into your grading system. NB! You are student of TTÜ only until 17th of June!!!

Answers to main questions If you fail the exams, you don’t have time to take another, for example 6 ECTS, course at TTÜ. With all academic questions (why my grade is low, why my friend passed and I did not, may I change the date of the exam etc.), please, turn to your Lecturer, Professor. Check your results in OIS before 17th of June.

Learning Agreement Your last version of Learning Agreement should match with the Transcript of Records what will you get from TTÜ in the end of the semester. Part „After Mobility“ should be replaced with Academic Transcirpt you get from TTÜ. If not, please fill in the part by yourself and send to me by e-mail after I have mailed your Academic Transcripts to you. I have to compare the documents and sign/stamp.

Academic Transcript The official document with academic results. Your home university will receive the original by regular post in July. Please check your Letter of Acceptance, there is the address, where I will send the ToR. Scanned version of your transcript will be sent by e-mail to you. In case you find any incorrect or missing information, please inform us by e-mail ASAP. When you will graduate and you need the grades earlier, please check OIS and when all the grades are added, let me know.

Letter of Confirmation/Attendance An official document which proves your attendance at Tallinn University of Technology from 30.01.2017 until 17.06.2017. It will be sent together your Academic Transcript to your university by post. When you need other dates, or do you have your own university form, please let me know. When you have your own attendance form, we can inlcude also Orientation Days to your Study period.

Feedback Please evaluate the courses and lecturers at Spring semester. Must for students who continue in the Autumn! To give your evaluation log in to OIS, select the "Gallups" tag and "Take part from Gallup„ This Semester Feedback opens on 13. May 2017 Everybody is invited to Focus group interviews! First time is on 18th of May, at 14:00.

Additional Procedures Please return the books to the library. End your dwelling place contract. Pay for the accommodation. If you see the option, that next semester students could rent your appartment, please announce in the FB groups for next Semester students! You will not get your Academic Transcirp, when books are not returned to the Library and you have not paid for the Academic hostel.

Leaving from Tallinn Please go to the City District Government, where you got your ID code and registered living place. It is allowed to go to any city district government. Do not go to Police, where you got your ID cards. You can pass the procedure also without going anywhere, when you are using your ID cards and ID card readers in Information System Authority https://www.eesti.ee/portaal/!rrteenus.avaldused?tab=uusava ldus&tutvustus=1&aliik=A01  After this procedure you are not any longer citizen of Tallinn and you can’t use your Ühiskaart for free any more! If you have any money on your Ühiskaart, you can get the money back (also give the card back if you don’t need it any more). Vabaduse väljak 7. Estonian ID card will be yours.
