U.S. History Poster Project Causes of the American Revolution

Each student will be creating their OWN poster but work out the information in pairs. The paired up students will randomly select one of the “Causes” to create a poster from. One person will take the Loyalist point of view of the argument, the other, the Patriot point of view. The project poster must have your persuasive argument (Loyalist/Patriot) and be convincing. Research is to be done today in class using the gray/red textbooks. The poster will be due on Thursday (Oct. 6th). You may use the poster sized paper we will provide or buy your own.

Coverage of the topic – Make sure all facts and arguments are historically correct Use of graphics – Use pictures, drawings, graphs, etc. Organization – Make sure the poster is organized and flows well Neatness – Make sure the poster is neat, worded clearly to communicate your argument correctly Grammar/Spelling – Make sure to have correct spelling and grammar Poster Expectations
