Target: 65% of all high school senior students will increase their previous score towards reaching 1500 by scoring 200 points better than the last administration. Goal #4: Academic Performance - HS We met and exceeded the target Of the 21 senior students who participated in retakes, 70% of these students scored 200 points or higher. One student raised his score by 420 points to a score of 1510. In addition, of all 35 seniors who took the SAT, 20% scored 1500 or better, 38% scored from 1200 to 1499, and 26% scored 1000 to 1199. Goal #5: Academic Performance - HS The UC TEAMS Charter School will provide all eligible students in the 9 – 12 program an opportunity to participate in the dual high school/college Bridge Program at Union County College. Measure/Metric Growth in percentage of students demonstrating proficiency in school-wide assessments by June 2017.   Target 75% or better of all students in grades 3 -11 achieving 75% or better proficiency. SMART GOALS: 2016 - 2017 Goal #5 Curriculum Programs The UC TEAMS Charter School will provide opportunities for project based learning in all curricular programs: general, RISE, Gifted and Talented using STEM as the focus, and provide an effective and competitive school-wide “Built Environment Science Fair”. Measure/ Metric Continued growth in percentage of project based entries into the Built Environment Fair in May 2017. Target 75% of school population will have individual entries in the BE Science Fair with competitive presentations with a panel of judges. SMART GOALS: 2016 - 2017 Goal #6 Staff Professional Development The UC TEAMS Charter School will provide opportunities for all staff to develop professionally in the areas of pedagogy, knowledge of CCSS, effective teaching strategies and classroom management via professional development seminars. Measure/ Metric Growth in the areas of Planning and Preparation, Classroom Environment, Instruction, and Professional Responsibilities as evaluated by both Informal and Formal tools aligned with the Danielson Model and through the Effective Teacher Strategies of Harry Wong. Target 90% or better of all staff will be retained in the classroom based upon receiving Proficient levels on two of three evaluations, both informal and formal. SMART GOALS: 2016 - 2017 Goal #7 HS College Preparation In the High School program, our goal is to increase standardized SAT scores through supplemental academic services. Measure/ Metric Incremental growth in percentage of students improving their SAT scores towards a target score of 900 or better, with ELA scores of 450 and math scores of 440 or better. *(New SAT 2016) Target 65% of all high school senior students retaking the test will increase their previous score towards reaching 900 by scoring 50 points or better than the last administration. NJ BCBT – Biology Competency Test

Math scores improved by 14%. ELA scores improved by 14% Math scores improved by 14%. ELA scores improved by 14%. According to the benchmark standard, students moved from partially proficient to proficient .

In Math students improved by a minimum of 3% to a maximum of 24% In Math students improved by a minimum of 3% to a maximum of 24%. The 3 -5 cluster improved by 17% and 6 – 8 improved by 7%.

In ELA students improved by a minimum of 2% to a maximum of 45% In ELA students improved by a minimum of 2% to a maximum of 45%. The 3 -5 cluster improved by 27% and 6 – 8 improved by 11%.

Of the 69 students enrolled in the program, 34 exited the program according to criteria established. This represents an exit rate of 49% .
