What is a Rainforest and Why are they Important-Monique Tropical rainforests are forests with tall trees, warm climates, and lots of rain. The reason it is called a "rain" forest is because of the high amount of rainfall per year. Rainforests are very important as the plants produce much of the earth’s oxygen to help us humans and animals survive. It also creates a habitat for animals and all living things.

Here are some of the animals that lie under the categories above: Animals-Abbey Rainforests are populated with insects, archinds, reptiles, amphibians, birds and mammals. Different animals live in different parts of the rainforest. Here are some of the animals that lie under the categories above: Butterflies Beetles Spiders Ticks Worms Snakes Lizards Frogs Toads Parrots Toucans Sloths Jaguars And plenty more animals...

, The Amazon rainforest is located in Amazonas, Brazil One of the most popular rainforests is the amazon rainforest. Like most rainforests the Amazon is in danger. A lot of this is actually illegally done. One of the most important parts of the rainforest is the trees, and a lot of people are cutting down these trees illegally just to take the wood to sell. The Amazon rainforest is a home to a lot of different types of animals these include Snakes, Birds, Jaguars and many more. The amazon rainforest also has some rare species too. Piranhas are one example only a couple of places in the world have piranhas and the Amazon have them. There are currently 20 species of piranhas in the Amazon and only 4 of them cause damage to humans.

Resources from other rainforests between 1980 to 2000, our world’s population grew by 30%. Because of the rapid growth, the demand of plants, animals and bacteria interacting with each of the other environment, called as an ecosystems. But that’s not all, more people, more fuelwood (meaning that fuelwood or coal are the main sources of energy for heating and for cooking) it takes for other people to collect and also used for papers. And even more supplies just to get things supplied.

Atmosphere & Climate - Paulina The climate of a tropical rainforest is very hot and wet. The usual temperatures of a tropical rainforest are about 80 degrees all year with cool nights. The temperature of the rainforest has never dropped below 64 degrees. The humidity of a tropical rainforest is usually 85%, but during the day it is usually 80% and at night it is usually even higher at 95%. In rainforests, thunderstorms are very common. There are no seasons in the rainforest, thus, the climate is basically the same thing everyday. It’s humid, hot and rainy and it seems as if it’s always summer because of that.
