Introduction …

Location of Sami People … They are the original inhabitants of northern Europe. and this region now forms part of northern Sweden, Norway, Finland and the Russian Kola Peninsula.

Traditional clothing of Sami People … There are different Gakti for women and men. Women's Gakti typically consist of a dress, a fringed shawl that is fastened with 1-3 silver brooches, and boots/shoes made of reindeer fur or leather.

men's Gakti have a shorter "jacket" than a women's long dress. Traditional Gakti are most commonly in variations of red, blue, green, white, medium- brown tanned leather, or reindeer fur. In winter, there is the addition of a reindeer fur coat and leggings, and sometimes a poncho and rope/lasso.

Sami People’s food … In the past, These days, Sami people was ate a Reindeers meat and fish. These days, They have tradition-and modern meals at the table. Tradition reindeer meals, fish, hares and berries.
