ADVANTAGES OF INFRARED HEATERS Significant reductions in energy usage. Unlike central heating systems, infrared does not waste energy heating air which loses heat through draughts and circulation. Infrared heats objects – which retain heat and radiate it back into the room. Simpler and cheaper to install than wet central heating systems. You only pay for the panel, which you can easily install using a plug socket. You therefore save a lot on the installation of a pipe system, which is required for conventional central heating. Moreover, infrared heater consumes much less electricity than a conventional electric heater that heats air.  Require no maintenance or servicing. Less damp and mould because infrared heater warms the walls and keeps them dry. Completely free of all carbon emissions. Since infrared doesn’t rely on air as the medium for transporting the heat (like conventional convection heaters), there is far less movement of air which means that dust and allergens aren’t circulated around a room, helping to reducing their impact. This infrared is absorbed by the body, which causes it to increase blood circulation, which has many of health benefits including: boosting immune functionality, detoxing and reducing joint stiffness.

HOW SAFE IS INFRARED RADIATION FOR ME? Many people immediately think that radiation is harmful for humans but there is beneficial radiation apart from the dangerous one. Infrared Radiation works similarly to the sun rays but without the harmful UV rays for the skin. It is not ultraviolet (this causes sunburns) or atomic (nuclear weapon) radiation. Infrared Radiation is the type of energy which heats an object or a person and not the air within a room. Even our bodies radiate infrared energy out through the skin at around 3 ~ 50 microns. How harmful can this be? In addition, it does not emit any gasses to the environment or make the air dusty and stuffy. In contrary to what someone may first think, Infrared Radiation is even healthier than any other convection heater since it has been proved that it has many health benefits when used -among others, for medical purposes such as Passive Cardiovascular Conditioning Effect, Outstanding Caloric Consumption and Weight Control, Musculoskeletal Cases, Coronary Artery Disease,  Arteriosclerosis and Hypertension.
