2017-2018 Medical Renewal Plan Options Arlington Public Schools (Non-AEA) The Benefit Committee has thoroughly reviewed the current plans and is presenting two medical plan renewal options for the 2017-2018 year: Renew with Kaiser Permanente “as-is.” Return to WEA (Aetna and UHC) plans and offer only a Kaiser HMO plan. 1 2

Renewal Choice 2 This option replaces Kaiser Permanente plans with WEA (Aetna and UHC) plans aside from a Kaiser HMO plan. Key Considerations: The WEA Select Plans through United Healthcare (UHC) and Aetna have been released. The WEA is offering a total of twenty-eight (28) plans for the 2017-2018 SY. The current PPO plans cannot be offered alongside the WEA plans (only the HMO) Will have access to the 10% discounted rates.
