Childhood cont. Her father left her and her siblings. She and her sisters went to a convent while her brothers went to a farm as child laborers.

Work Gabrielle first started as a cabaret singer. She sang in cafés and in concerts While working at the cafés she was given the name Coco Scrapbook 1. Create a scrapbook slideshow covering major periods of a figure’s life, for example: (but not limited or constrained by) early childhood, educations, work, accomplishments, critics, legacy 2. Each period should be at least 1-2 slides in the scrapbook slideshow. 3. Each slide should have at least 2 illustrations 4. Descriptions of the illustration &/or event is required 5. Work cont. She continued working as a singer until 1908. While singing she designed and wore her own hats. women were impressed and wanted her designs. She first opened a hat shop with all her designs with the help of a friend. After that first shop she closed down for awhile then started again. She opened many shops after that and kept expanding.

Accomplishments Coco was the first to introduce to the world the “little black dress”. Also she is known for her world famous perfume Chanel No. 5

Coco and Nazi officer

Trouble in Life coco had a love affair with a Nazi officer. Some people really didn’t like the fact that she was involved with a Nazi officer so some people stopped buying her products.

Good-Bye Coco Coco Chanel died at the age of 88 (98)actual age. She was actually older than what she said she was.

After Coco’s Life Now her Clothing line isn’t only just clothing it has about every clothing accessories you can name.
