iLife App
Description iLife is a user interface application developed by HDL for HDL Buspro devices. its an advanced home automation and remote access app from home, office and bus ( with internet access), which allows cell phones and tablets( IOS and Android) to be used as a user interface to control HDL. It’s designed to integrate and automate the major devices of HDL home automation system.
System Wiring
Download iLife IOS: download iLife IOS version from apple store, all you need to do is to search “iLife ” Android: download iLife Android version from Google Play or ftp://59.41.255.150/en(enlish)/HDL%20Buspro/Softwares/iLife(android%20version)/.
Licensing There are two types of license License: is used to register a single device such as (SamsungGalaxy note, iPad, iPhone …) for one user.
Licensing b) Site license: it's used to register the gateway HDL-MBUS01IP.431, so you can use unlimited number of devices( iPad, iPhone, tablet) to control HDL devices in that specific project Steps: 1- Fill in Subnet and Device ID of MBUS01IP.431. 2- Click Machine Code to get the machine code. 3- Register
Communication There are three modes a) Local: the basic way to control device through iLife, you need to connect to the same network(WIFI) as the gateway.
Communication b) Remote mode: This mode is suitable for travelling end user to control HDL Buspro system via Internet from home, office or anywhere else. The remote settings are got from the IP gateway module
Communication C) P2P: This mode requires a fixed static public IP for both ends so it's not suitable for end-users. Suggest to use remote mode for iLife
Information Here we can check iLife informations about Subnet/Device ID, IP Address and the app Version.
Configuration We need to use iLife Editor (based on PC) to create, configure and program a project and then upload the project to iLife (phone, tablet).
Create project Steps:Run the software and it will pop-up this window, input a project in the “project name “ and click “create new project” .
Add room Steps: To add a room to the list, click on the “Add button” and the room will be added.or double click the icon on the right to add the frequently-used room. Delete room: to delete a room, click on the room name and delete .
Room order Order:Here we can rename each room’s remark, and adjust the order of the rooms. Steps: Right click the Room name and select “order”
Add device Add device: Select a room, on the device display frame, double-click on one device, it will be added to the room, and then it will be displayed on the display frame.
Lighting Add a lamp for Lighting, the steps please refer to the picture on the left.
Scene
Device property Property: We can rename each device’s remark and adjust the order of the devices. Steps: Right click the device name and select “property”
Monitoring The monitoring function of iLife program allows a user to steam video from any IP camera to any Android or IOS device. There are 3 types of camera are supported: Hikvision, HDL Official Camera, Network URL.

Hikvision Input the IP address of camera, each camera has a label that has the IP address, user name and password. Port: The default port can not be changed. Channel No.: A separate channel number is needed for each camera
Hikvision camera supports remote control, but need to meet too conditions: 1. Use static public IP 2. Map the port 8000 to the router. When you conncet with many cameras, you can map the port 8001,8002 etc. to the router for each camera. But if the router don't support changing the port, you just only can remote control one camera.
HDL Official Camera HDL Official Camera: There are two types of camera, HDL-WD1150 and HDL-WD1220, and they support Local and Remote access. Each camera has a label. The label has the remote series number, IP address, user name and password.
HDL Official Camera The local setting: IP address is 192.168.110.1 (This IP address is only an example, for user, you should enter your IP address), user name is admin, no password is needed.
HDL Official Camera The remote setting: IP:115.29.251.24. No.:Remote series number. Port:The default port can not be changed. Channel No.:A separated channel number is needed for each camera
Network URL Network URL: iLife supports the other brands cameras that can be accessed by URL. step1:Check the camera if supports URL accessing or not.

Network URL Step2:Input the User Name, Password and Camera URL. Then click "Save".
Upload/download -iLife app has two ways communication: a) Uploading: this is the process to upload the created project to Ilife. Steps: -Open the “File” menu and select “Upload file” -Then select the type of the device (IOS or ANDROID) -put the IP address of the iLife and upload it
Upload/Download b) Downloading: you can download an existing project from iLife to your PC ( iLife editor) so you can configure and modify it and then upload it back to user interface (iLife). Steps: -open the “File” menu and select “Download file” -it will pop-up the below window, then select the type of the device (IOS or ANDROID) -put the IP address of the iLife and download it
