Human Machine Y3 Spring Term 2017 MATHS Find differences within 100. Compare and estimate with numbers up to 100. Derive complements of 100 and £10 in relation to multiples of 10 and 5 using the magic stick and number line. E.g. 65 + = 100 and £4.50 + = £10. Identify odd and even numbers up to 1000. Add and subtract 2 digit numbers using an expanded vertical method. Find fractional quantities linked to known multiplication facts. Ee.g. find 2/3 of 15 - I know 1/3 x 15 = 5 because 3 x 5 = 15 and 15 ÷ 3 = 5 so 2/3 x 15 = 10. Multiply a ‘teens’ number by 2, 3, 4 and 5 using the grid method.
