Manufacturing: Manufacturing - the act of making something (a product) from raw materials; creating from raw materials - the act of creating something that is different from the materials that went into it formation, shaping - the act of fabricating something in a particular shape

Quality Control Quality Control is the act of measuring a part and qualifying that the characteristic-dimemnsion that is being manufactured is meeting the operation sheet and blueprint tolerances. Many different gauges are utilized in this process. Some are micrometers, calipers, steel scale; 6 and 12 inch, dial bores, indicators, coordinate measuring machines-CMM.
