The Words of Christ, teaching us to Love Him and the Father. Today’s Topic The Words of Christ, teaching us to Love Him and the Father. We will today explore the book of John the fourth Gospel recording Christ, as the living word made flesh, miracles proving him God’s Son, rebirth by water and the Spirit, being the Living water, doing what God sent him to do, this in brevity our example as written in 1 Peter 2:21 “For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:” For as it is written “Jer 10:23 O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.” And that as stated in this book, “John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”
Note this! John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God. John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. John 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Let’s understand this simply! We cannot even come to Christ, show or love for him or the Father if we do not keep/abide by those written instructions in his word. The Guide what we refer to as the Bible other wise known as the Torah, books of the prophets (this brought the Jews unto Christ, the School Master Galatians 3:24), they were given the covenant from God through Moses [a type Christ] along with the early Church just as Timothy in 2 Timothy 1:1-3 , 3:15 and the New testament the four Gospels, Acts of the Apostles, the general epistles the completion/ perfection of the word of God the whole picture, Matthew 5:17-20 John 6:45 it is a taught process from the scriptures. If we ignore the word of God/Christ we are not his friend John 15:14

End Repentance Plan of Salvation If we sin we have an advocate Hear – Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Believe – Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Repent – Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. 5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Confess – Matt 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Baptize – 1Pet 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: Live Faithfully – Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world If we sin we have an advocate 1John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: Jas 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
