Homework Should usually be no longer than 30-45 minutes daily, not including IRLA. If it is consistently taking longer, please send me an email or a note. I stress using time wisely for homework. There will be both long term and short term assignments this year. Make sure your child always brings their IRLA bag to school. All homework will be posted on my website, but please also check your child’s assignment book daily.
Snacks There will be a working snack time in the morning. According to district policy, daily snacks are only permitted if they are completely nut free (nuts include peanuts; tree nuts and nut-by-products) and manufactured in a facility that DOES NOT process nuts. Please send your child with a healthy snack. Fruit, carrots, celery, pretzels, granola bars without nuts, crackers, and pretzels are good options.
