Bell Work Sit in your seat. Take out: Pencil and piece of paper This will be time for you to assure students are in the correct classroom and take attendance.
Bell Work Write on your piece of paper: The Big 3 Explain how the Big 3 can be applied to the importance of doing your homework. Be prepared to share with the class.
Dress Code Bottoms Tops Navy, black, or khaki/tan If the bottoms have belt loops, a belt must be worn Must be straight-legged All bottoms secured at the waist Tops Navy, black, yellow, gold, white Must have sleeves and a collar Must be tucked in and buttoned, with the exception of one or two buttons Logo may not be any larger than 2 x 2 inches
Dress Code Shoes Shoes must have rubber soles, be secured with laces or Velcro and must completely cover toes and heel. Gym shoes are not to exceed 2 inches past the ankle or reach the bottom of the calf muscle. High-top basketball shoes are acceptable. Belts A belt is required if the garment has belt loops.
Dress Code Failure to comply with dress code requirement will result in disciplinary actions. First infraction will be a written warning to parent. All other infractions will have be a referral.
Tardy Policy “On time” means that you are in your seat when the bell rings. For each unexcused tardy to a class you will meet with the teacher to discuss why you were tardy. Your parents will also be called. Upon the 3rd tardy you will receive a referral. You will then receive a referral for EVERY tardy for the remainder of the quarter.

Important reminders: Technology Cell phones and similar wireless devices may be in possession of students on campus but can not be visible or activated (turned on) between 7:30 am and 2:23 pm. If a device is seen or found to be activated it will be confiscated and turned into discipline. Disciplinary actions may be imposed.

Refusal to allow search of electronic device will be considered gross insubordination or other serious misconduct and may result in suspension, alternative placement, or expulsion
Important Reminders: Sexual Acts Consensual sex acts will result in an alternative placement or expulsion and a notification to law enforcement. Forced/non-mutual sex acts (sexual battery) will not be tolerated and will result in expulsion from school and notification to law enforcement. Remember, the Code of Conduct covers sex acts that take place before school, after school, on a bus, off campus at a school sponsored event, on a field trip, in the dugout after school, behind the bleachers, etc. “Sexting” Using or possessing a wireless communication device to view, transfer, or store material of a sexual nature is “sexting” and will result in a suspension, possible alternative placement, and notification to law enforcement.

Fire Drill Listen to and follow the directions of the adult in charge. Leave all books and bags in the classroom and exit the room in a single file line. Walk silently from the building to the waiting area. Listen for your name and wait silently until the drill has ended.
