What is Science Olympiad? academic track meets 23 team events 15 students on a team Build, test, & lab events Sue - 3 min all bullets are set to a 2 second interval as you are talking about so Science Olympiad competitions are like academic track meets, consisting of a series of 23 team events in each division (Division B is middle school) 11 areas of science: life, personal, social, earth, space, physical, chemistry, technology, engineering, inquiry, nature of science

Life at Piedmont Drop-off at 8:45 a.m. unless prior arrangements are made Please use 2 designated lanes in a.m. (not middle lane!) Pull in proper entrance Instruction begins at 9:15 a.m.
Life at Piedmont Dismissal procedures Early dismissal no later than 3:30 p.m. 4:15 p.m. dismissal Pick up by 4:30 p.m. 3 lanes open in car lot in p.m. If supervision not on lot, come to main office to sign out student Change in transportation – must call main office before 3:30 p.m.
IB Requirements Community & Service: Due by April 28, 2017 20 hours = 6th grade 25 hours = 7th grade Project = 8th grade ***hours are entered in PowerSchool (math) ***project checkpoints entered in PowerSchool (science) Pass all core classes, health/PE, and one encore (IKE-R) Pass world language
