UP TO 8 STUDENTS PER TEAM 5 BUILD EVENTS 5 THEORY EVENTS We recommend each member compete in build and theory events. ALL TEAM MEMBERS MUST COMPETE IN PENTATHLON

TEAM SELECTION CHOOSE HOWEVER YOU WANT. MUST BE 4TH TO 6TH GRADERS FROM THE SAME SCHOOL UP TO 8 TEAM MEMBERS. MINIMUM 6 MEMBERS. LESS THAN 8 MAY BE A DISADVANTAGE TO THE TEAM

CONFLICT OF SCHEDULE MAKE SURE THERE IS NO CONFLICT AMONG YOUR TEAM MEMBERS: SCHEDULE-WISE Schedule available on website DIVIDE EVENTS UP CAREFULLY SO NO MEMBER IS DOING MORE THAN 1 AT A GIVEN TIME UNFORTUNATELY, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE ANY REQUESTS ON EVENT DAY

OPEN EVENTS OPEN FOR ALL TO WATCH THOUGH A COMPETITION, WE REMIND EVERYONE THAT THIS IS A FRIENDLY EVENT, AND ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO SUPPORT ALL THE TEAMS – CHEERING FOR OTHER TEAMS IS HEALTHY 

IMPOUND EVENTS 3 BUILD EVENTS – Wheeled Vehicle, Energy Box, Rubber Band Catapult TEAMS IMPOUND THE DEVICE BEFORE WELCOME SPEECH COACHES CAN HELP WITH IMPOUND—HOWEVER, NO SETUP IS DONE DURING IMPOUND JUST DROP OFF DEVICE IN MARKED SPOT AND DISPERSE MAKE SURE TO IMPOUND LOG BOOK ALONG WITH DEVICE

EVENT DESCRIPTIONS WILL DISTRIBUTE VIA GOOGLE GROUP TO REGISTERED TEAMS WILL BE SENT ONLY TO HEAD COACH—HEAD COACH TO SEND IT TO THEIR TEAM COACHES WILL UPLOAD EVENT DESCRIPTIONS + CLARIFICATIONS CLARIFICATIONS ARE BASED ON QUESTIONS FROM TEAMS—KEEPS GETTING UPDATED PERIODICALLY.. MORE SO TOWARDS EVENT DAY

WORKFLOW FORM A TEAM—REGISTER GET A TEAM # ASSIGN EVENTS TO TEAM MEMBERS BASED ON SCHEDULE GET EVENT DESCRIPTIONS PREPARE TEAM MEMBERS IN SUBJECT AREA DEVICES MUST BE BUILT BY ONLY TEAM MEMBERS—NO OUTSIDE ASSISTANCE SHOW UP ON MAY 16, 2015 AT AMERICAN HIGH SCHOOL CHEER ALL THE TEAMS HAVE FUN
