New Worker Training Module VI CBMS Documenting our work

Module VI CBMS Work Exemption (30 hours per week or $217.50 per week) On the Earned Income Screen: Estimated Average Hrs/Week must be 30 or more Employment Type must be one of the following: Permanent (over 90 days) or Temporary (30-90) days Monthly Amount Earned >=Minimum Wage x 30 x 4.333333

Module VI CBMS There are 8 fields required to be filled out on the Earned Income screen: Effective begin date Self-employed - “Yes” or “No” Begin date (date client started their job) Name of employer Telephone number Employment type Monthly amount earned (for $217.50 per week exemption) Estimated/average hours per week (for 30 hours or more per week exemption)

Module VI CBMS The information listed MUST be entered on the Earned Income screen. Keep in mind this screen is a data only screen, the information entered on this screen effects EF eligibility only. The information will not be used to determine eligibility.

Module VI CBMS Required data entry Actual End Date: Enter the date of data entry. Closure Reason: Select ‘Exemption’. Outcome:= If emp, Gained. If another exemption, select Exempt. Save: Always save your work. Close window

Module VI CBMS Required data entry Plan Status: Change to EF-Exempt. Plan Status Date : Date of data entry. *use Today’s date in Calendar* Save: Always save your work. Click on Work Program Summary on left side navigation.

Module VI CBMS Example of Case Comments

Module VI CBMS Moving an Entry from the Waiting List Required data entry Move entries to Scheduled once Current allotment decreases to $0 (full ENHF) or if you feel that is the most it will drop. Enhanced Funding: Click on it TWICE to bring highest amount to the top of the grid. Status: Select Scheduled. Save: Always save your work.

Module VI CBMS Verifying the entry is Scheduled Required data entry County: Select your county. Search button: Click on to populate entries, if applicable.

Module VI CBMS Reviewing Reported ENHF From: Enter MM/YYYY. Required data entry From: Enter MM/YYYY. To: Enter MM/YYYY County: Select your county. Search button: Click on to populate entries, if applicable. State: Statewide total of earned ENHF for specific quarter. County: Total ENHF earned for specific quarter in county.
