Early Egypt Social Studies

Aim and Do Now Aim: What major physical features and advantages enabled Early Egypt to become a great civilization? Do Now: Your family farms in the Nile Valley. Each year when the floodwaters spread rich soil on the land you help your family plant barley. When you’re not in the fields, you spin fine linen thread from the flax you have grown. Sometimes you go hunting near the river and try to catch birds and fish in the tall grass. Why do you like living in the Nile River Valley?
