Plains .

You will find most big cities are located on the plains. Why ? This is because it is easier to build houses, roads, factories, and other structures and places like the Airport/ rail/ roadways in the plains because they are flat. That’s why they are heavily populated ( meaning) Do you think there are natural plains in the UAE ? Do your research and we’ll discuss that in our next class.

A Hill is a high or raised land. It is lower than a mountain and has vegetation. People and animals live on it. The climate is pleasant so tourists visit these places to get away from the busy city life. They are also called Hill Stations. .

A Valley is an area of lowland between hills or mountains A Valley is an area of lowland between hills or mountains. Like the Hill stations the climate in the valleys is pleasant and good to live in. Are valleys like plains ?
