Native Americans by Kristina Jones Essential Question: What was life like for Early Virginia Indians? Enduring Understanding: Early Virginia Indians had a culture of their own. They had their own customs and way of life. They used natural resources and lived off their land. Objective(s): Draw conclusions and make generalizations. (VS.1d) Interpret ideas and events from different historical perspectives. Reconstruction Nicole Hagermann 11th Grade US and Virginia History Essential Question: What were the consequences of the war and Reconstruction? Enduring Understanding: The Civil War and Reconstruction resulted in Southern resentment toward the North and Southern African Americans, and ultimately political, economic, and social control of the South returned to whites.
