Middle School to High School Making the Transition Class of 2021

Attendance: It’s Hard To Learn If You’re Not Here An excused absence means the student has a valid (state-accepted) reason to miss class and the student has 5 days to make up his work he missed. If a student is absent for up to 3 days and it is excused, she will make up the work upon her return, and the five day rule applies Students have 3 days to submit attendance notes in order to be excused. If there is ever a chance you’ll be out more than 3 days, PLEASE CONTACT THE INDIVIDUAL TEACHERS ON THE FIRST DAY so that counselors and teachers will be aware and can help gather work for you if necessary.
