Student Expectations and Grading Materials: Flash Drive (4GB+) & DSLR Camera (Optional for Digital Photo), Color Printed 8x10 image per quarter (Photo classes only) Portfolio Book (200 Level class only) Class Materials Fee: $25 due at bookstore or online Grading: Classes will be graded by a total point system including homework, classwork, projects, quizzes and exams

Digital Media Curriculum Quarter #1 I will be able to understand what digital media is and the laws that apply to the profession. I will be able to understand the basic features of Adobe Illustrator and how to use them to create different designs. I will be able to understand the design process within digital media processes and how elements of design and principles of design help to create them.

Digital Media Curriculum Quarter #2 I will be able to understand the difference between Raster (Pixel) digital art and Vector (Shape) digital art. I will be able to understand the basic features of Adobe Photoshop and how to use them to manipulate images. I will be able to understand the basic features of Adobe Premiere Pro and how to use them to create different video productions.
