House Bill 64 – State Operating Budget Efficiency Advisory Committee House Bill 64 – State Operating Budget Maintained the Chancellor’s Efficiency Advisory Committee, with designees from each public higher education institution Committee shall meet “at the call of the Chancellor” or his designee Annual Report – Due December 31 of each year: Identify Efficiencies at each institution in areas of general operational functions, academic program delivery, energy usage, and information technology and procurement reforms Quantify monetary impact where applicable (expense reductions, revenue enhancements, reallocation of resources, & cost avoidance) Emphasize areas where these reforms are demonstrating savings or cost avoidance to students
Ohio Task Force on Affordability & Efficiency in Higher Education Task Force Members: Geoff Chatas, Chair Patrick V. Auletta Pamela B. Morris Mark T. Small Rep. Mike Duffey Rep. Dan Ramos President Keith Faber Senator Sandra Williams Each institution has formed its own Institutional Council to provide recommendations and feedback to the Task Force. The first meeting was held on June 23rd. The next meeting is scheduled for July 21st at Cuyahoga Community College. Two more meetings, in August and September. Final Report and Recommendations due on October 1st, 2015.
